Description
This collection consists of an assortment of buttons and miniature buckles presented on a labeled display board. The items feature buckle-related motifs and are manufactured from various materials including phenolic resin, casein, celluloid, nylon, amino, metalized plastic, brass, aluminum, pewter, silver-plated metal, pot metal, white metal, tole, wood, shell, and leather. Specific examples include a black glass button with a backmark reading Patd Dec 28, 1880 and a contemporary embroidered fabric button labeled Studio by Helen Darner for the 2004 BSBS Spring Show. The assortment displays a range of production techniques from the late 19th century through the early 21st century.
Display board: 9 inches in height Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
