Description
A collection of decorative buttons featuring various dog breeds and motifs. The assortment includes items constructed from molded plastic, brass, silver-toned metal, pewter, enamel, wood, and ceramic. The collection displays a variety of techniques including figural shapes, relief-cast metal, enamel pictorials, and cameo-style designs. Breeds represented include Scottish Terriers, Dalmatians, and others. Two large relief-cast metal buttons are identified by handwritten notes on the mounting board as Pewter Newfoundland Hounds. One circular button features a white canine figure in relief against a matte green ground. The items are presented on a mounting board with labels reading Dogs Mixed Age and Unknown Age (And mixed).
Mounting board: 11.5 x 9 inches Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
