Description
A collection of buttons featuring various mythological and fantastic creatures including dragons, griffins, and sea serpents. The items are fashioned from diverse materials including brass, silver-toned metal, copper-toned metal, plastic, and enamel. The designs range from detailed relief work to colorful painted finishes. One silver-toned button is inscribed with the Latin motto PATIENTIA VINCIT around a central animal crest. The assortment includes a long articulated metal sea serpent with green enamel details and a small turquoise-colored dragon pin. The collection is presented on a white display board with a printed label reading FANTASTIC ANIMALS and various handwritten notations including the word JADE.
Display board measures approximately 9 inches in width. Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
