Description
A collection of assorted vintage and antique collector buttons presented on two themed cardstock display boards titled Keys and Locks and Nautical. The buttons are crafted from various materials including gold and silver-tone metals, brass, colored plastic, and glass, with specific examples noted as being made of leather, fabric, and phenolic. The Keys and Locks group includes a variety of key, padlock, and keyhole designs in different sizes and finishes. The Nautical group features maritime motifs such as ship wheels, compasses, anchors, a mermaid, oars, and stylized vessels. The items are secured to the boards with wire or thread. Handwritten notations on the boards identify specific materials such as leather, phenolic, and fabric with black glass. Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
