Description
This collection of buttons is professionally organized and mounted on multiple labeled display cards. The items are categorized by design motifs, including Radial Designs, Stylized Plantlife, Snowflake Pattern, Interlaced Patterns, Scrolls, Spiral Pattern, Quilt-Like Patterns, Tetraskelion, and Plaid. These buttons are crafted from various materials such as carved plastics, silver and gold-tone metals, glass, horn, and vegetable ivory. Craftsmanship techniques include intricate filigree, hand-painting, and multi-colored inlays. One card includes a handwritten note attributing a piece to Bob Benson (Studio) and specifying materials such as vegetable ivory from old piano keys and an onyx cabochon.
