Description
This collection features an assortment of antique and vintage decorative buttons mounted on a cream-colored board. The central focal point is a South Asian-style miniature illustration depicting figures and animals, which is embellished with turquoise-colored and coral-toned cabochon buttons. The remaining assembly consists of multiple relief-molded metal picture buttons in various sizes, showing figurative scenes, classical motifs, and intricate patterns. These items are buttons constructed from materials including brass, white metal, and glass, displaying a range of patinas and finishes. The mounting board includes a hand-drawn scrolled border in blue, green, and red, with the handwritten initials AEM in green ink in the top right corner.
