Description
This lot consists of an assortment of glass buttons presented on two display boards. The first board, labeled as containing older intermixed glass, features various small buttons with colorful swirls, floral patterns, and layered designs in round, oval, and rectangular shapes. The second board is labeled for modern glass with precision inlays and includes Division I examples. These items are buttons that showcase decorative techniques such as faceted surfaces, metallic-tone accents, and moonglow glass. Colors represented include black, green, blue, gold-tone, and multi-color swirls. Several examples feature sew-through construction and intricate inlays. The buttons are mounted on hole-punched cards with various handwritten cataloging notes. Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
