Description
Theses items are buttons of various styles and periods, presented across several organized display cards. The collection features a wide range of materials and decorative techniques, including milk glass, colored glass, and enamel, often categorized under Division 1 and 3 classifications. One card, labeled white glass, contains novelty shapes such as a rabbit, a cat, and a basket, as well as molded and hand-painted buttons with floral, faunal, and patriotic motifs, including a bicentennial example marked 1776-1976. The colored glass card includes faceted, textured, and iridescent buttons, some with metallic accents. Other buttons in the group display a variety of patterns, including a golden dragon, a lady’s profile, floral scenes, and figural shapes like a squirrel and a star. The items are mounted on cards with handwritten archival notations.
Display cards: approximately 11 inches by 8.5 inches Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
