Description
An assortment of buttons featuring various materials and styles, including plastic, acrylic, and synthetic polymers. The collection is presented on several perforated display boards and categorized by labels such as ordinary plastic from the 1950s-1960s, modern acrylic in earth tones, and mixed synthetic polymers. Decorative features include swirl patterns, geometric designs, floral motifs, textured surfaces, and marbled finishes. Some buttons incorporate mother-of-pearl laminates or overlays and metallic accents. Specific handwritten notations on the boards describe certain textures as having a waxy feeling. The collection includes a variety of sizes and attachment types, such as shank and multi-hole configurations.
Display boards: approximately 9 inches in height Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
