Description
This collection of buttons is presented on three organized display boards. The first board, titled House Dress 30s (40s & 50s) Buttons, features a variety of decorative shapes including flowers, stars, and novelty designs. Handwritten notations on this board identify materials such as amino resin and phenolic. The second board showcases modernist and geometric designs, with several buttons featuring faux-stitched details and mechanical themes arranged in a printed grid. The third board, labeled Modern Plastic, contains a grid of colorful buttons with various textured and molded patterns. The collection includes examples of Czech glass buttons with floral and geometric motifs, some of which are hand-painted. The buttons are mounted on cardstock backings that include instructional markings and classification labels. Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
