Description
This collection consists of an assortment of antique and vintage buttons featuring various decorative textile techniques. The group includes fabric-covered, embroidered, silk-wrapped, and beaded designs, alongside passementerie fancy top styles. The buttons are presented on four cardstock display boards organized into geometric patterns. Several boards include handwritten descriptive notations regarding the weave and construction, such as 3 WEAVES 2 COLORS and FLOWER 3 WEAVES. The materials comprise silk, various textiles, and thread-wrapped forms. Included plastic storage bags are labeled FANCY TOP FABRIC and FANCY TOPS (AND NOT). Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
