Description
This collection consists of an assortment of vintage novelty buttons, including numerous mid-20th-century molded glass examples frequently referred to as goofie buttons. These items are buttons crafted from various materials including molded glass, plastic, and metal. The collection features a wide array of figural designs such as terriers, clowns, and farm animals, alongside round buttons decorated with nautical motifs including anchors and sailboats, floral patterns, fruit, and whimsical graphics like a smiley face, a car, and a ghost. The pieces are characterized by vibrant colors and detailed molded relief. The assortment is currently presented on a hand-drawn cardboard mounting.
Cardboard mount: 9 inches in height Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
