Description
This collection consists of several late 19th to early 20th-century womens garments and accessories primarily constructed from black silk and taffeta. The group includes a two-piece ensemble featuring a long full skirt accented by wide velvet horizontal bands at the hem and a matching bodice with structured shoulders beaded trim and a prominent green silk insert with floral embroidery. A second ensemble is comprised of a black pinstriped bodice with lace applique on the shoulders and a corresponding pinstriped long skirt. Additional components include a detached beaded collar a green and black striped sash and various textile fragments. The garments feature period-appropriate construction including interior linings and button closures. No manufacturer markings are present. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Friday, March 27 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
