This collection includes several mid-to-late 19th-century volumes focused on Ohio regional history and general reference. The group features two large-format historical texts: History of Cincinnati, Ohio and History of Hamilton Co., Ohio. Both volumes are bound in embossed brown cloth with decorative gilt-stamped titles and borders on the front covers. The interior pages contain historical text, portrait illustrations with facsimile signatures, and lists of military personnel. Also included is a small-format Cincinnati 1846 Almanac published by Robinson and Jones, featuring a printed cloth cover and internal advertisements. Completing the collection is a miniature leather-bound dictionary with gold-tooled decorative motifs on the covers and spine, featuring thumb-indexed pages and a gilt-lettered title on the spine. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Friday, March 27 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
