Description
This collection consists of early 20th-century industrial and marine-related equipment. The primary component is a circular cast iron boiler cover plate manufactured by the Henry Vogt Machine Co. of Louisville, Kentucky. The plate features embossed lettering for Henry Vogt Mach Co. Water Tube Boiler Louisville, Ky. Co. and lists patent dates of September 1901 and May 1905, as well as the model identifier BF 128. Also included in the assortment are vintage wooden boat oars and an industrial maintenance tool designed for boiler tube cleaning. The tool is constructed with a long wooden handle and a rectangular metal housing featuring two circular ports and a wheeled T-handle.
