Description
This mid-century electric rain lamp is produced by Johnson Industries. The piece features a central cast figure of a draped female in a classical pose with an antiqued bronze-tone finish. The figure is enclosed in a cylindrical cage consisting of four vertical supports and multiple fine nylon lines intended for the circulation of mineral oil to produce a rain effect. The upper and lower housings are decorated with molded Greek key and scrollwork bands. A ring finial is located at the top for hanging purposes. Interior manufacturer labels identify the item as a portable lamp by Johnson Industries, bearing serial number 99884. The lamp is equipped with a brown two-prong power cord.
Height: 31 inches Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Friday, March 27 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
