Description
A group of still banks comprising cast iron and turned wood examples. The cast iron items include a standing pig with a gold-tone finish and red painted accents, a model of the Washington Monument embossed with WASHINGTON on the base, and a gabled building with a chimney identified as a replica of Fort Snelling. The wooden banks consist of a cylindrical container featuring a chromolithographed paper label depicting illustrated figures and a conical beehive-form bank with a fragmentary paper label. The cast iron banks are of two-part construction joined by recessed screws.

Pick up is Friday, March 27 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
