Description
This handmade quilt features a traditional grid pattern in a cheerful yellow and white color scheme. The face is composed of twenty white square blocks, each featuring an appliqued yellow floral center framed by a black and yellow embroidered star motif. Yellow sashing separates the blocks, intersected by smaller white cornerstones with coordinating geometric embroidery. The reverse is solid off-white, showcasing dense and intricate hand-quilted diamond and shell patterns. The piece reflects mid-20th-century American textile traditions and folk art aesthetics. Approximately 76 inches wide by 90 inches long. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Friday, March 27 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
