Description
This lot features eight vintage baseball cards from the 1968 Topps Game insert set. These cards were originally distributed as inserts within standard 1968 Topps wax packs and were designed for use in a tabletop baseball game. Each card features a color player portrait with a facsimile signature and a specific game action. The reverse of each card displays the “T.C.G.” (Topps Chewing Gum) copyright and a baseball diamond graphic. The lot includes the following cards from the 33-card set: No. 16 Dean Chance (Strike Out), No. 17 Mike McCormick (Strike Out), No. 18 Tim McCarver (Foul Out), No. 19 Ron Santo (Pop Out), No. 20 Tony Gonzalez (Pop Out), No. 21 Frank Howard (Line Out), No. 23 Dick Allen (Line Out), and No. 24 Jim Wynn (Fly Out).
