Description
A collection of Victorian and vintage black glass buttons presented on a white display card labeled Mixed Black Glass Div. 1. These are buttons featuring a variety of relief-molded designs including figurals such as birds, frogs, eagles, houses, an owl, and a lyre. The assortment includes floral motifs, geometric patterns, and specialized functional whistle buttons with central apertures. Surface treatments vary from matte to high-gloss, with examples of iridescent luster finishes, painted accents including a blue bird, and a multi-colored mosaic piece. Notable inclusions are identified by handwritten notations as Metalized Blk Glass and a Depose Deco registered Art Deco design. The collection encompasses several sizes and shapes, including circular, square, and oval forms. Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
