Description
A collection of Czech antique black glass buttons presented on a white display card labeled SPECIAL BLACK GLASS – DIV I. These are buttons that demonstrate a variety of decorative techniques including painted wood grain, gold and silver luster, foil embedding, and salt glazing. The assortment includes specimens with relief-carved profiles on wafer style buttons, paperweight designs, and realistic barrel shapes. Construction methods vary, with some pieces featuring pastes, pearls, or metallic backings such as screen back and swirl back designs. Each individual specimen is accompanied by a handwritten descriptive label on the card.
11 x 8.5 inches Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
