Description
This assortment of vintage and contemporary buttons is organized across several thematic display cards. The collection includes various materials such as pewter, brass, phenolic (Bakelite), acrylic (Lucite), celluloid, wood, horn, coconut shell, mother of pearl, and polyester. These are buttons that feature a variety of figural shapes, including leaves, locks, keys, four-leaf clovers, rainbows, and wishbones. One card features contemporary handmade polymer clay buttons dated 2023, constructed with acrylic paint, gold leaf, and glitter. The items are mounted on cards with printed and handwritten labels identifying themes like LEAVES and LUCK (SYMBOLS OF), as well as specific material compositions.
Large display cards: approximately 11 x 8.5 inches
Small polymer clay card: approximately 3.5 x 3 inches Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
