Description
This assortment of antique and vintage buttons features various materials including metal, glass, porcelain, and early plastics or celluloid. The collection is mounted on a white card and includes a hand-painted porcelain button with a central floral motif and gilt-scroll borders, a large carved ivory-colored button depicting a rose, and a tarnished metal button marked STERLING featuring a classical helmeted profile in relief. Other designs include enameled star patterns, an openwork brass floral square, a figural horse and rider on a dark ground, and faceted black glass. Several circular mounting spaces on the card remain vacant.
Card height: approximately 9 inches Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
