Description
A collection of vintage glass buttons featuring the back-paint technique. These items are buttons constructed from molded glass with color applied to the reverse side to enhance the relief details on the front. The assortment includes various sizes, colors, and designs, such as faceted, floral, and geometric patterns in shades of amber, rose, blue, clear, and black. Several specimens show metallic or tinted accents. The collection is presented on a pink display card with a printed label reading PAINT BACK OLDER GLASS and a handwritten note stating See also Back-paint.

Button diameters: approximately 0.25 inches to 1.25 inches Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
