Description
A collection of vintage West German glass buttons, including several examples of uranium or Vaseline glass that fluoresce bright green under ultraviolet light. The group features various shapes such as shells, floral motifs, geometric forms, and a figurative bird. Materials include pressed glass, milk glass, and potentially early composites in colors ranging from translucent seafoam green and yellow to white with painted or inlaid details. One specific example is noted as a popper with a key shank. The buttons are mounted on a perforated tan card with a printed label and handwritten notes regarding black light properties.
