Description
A collection of Victorian era and antique metal buttons. The assortment is composed of various metals including brass, copper, and silver-toned alloys. Decorative techniques include casting, stamping, and the application of enamel and iridescent finishes. Several examples feature central jewel-toned accents. The decorative motifs encompass a range of floral and geometric patterns alongside pictorial representations such as a crescent moon and star, birds, and other animals. The majority of the buttons are circular in form, with one hexagonal and one square button included. The items are mounted on a white display card with hand-drawn circular guides and a label reading SMALL METAL MIXED.
Card: 9 x 12 inches Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
