Description
A collection of antique and vintage cut steel buttons mounted on a white display card. The assortment features various designs including openwork filigree, floral motifs, and textured geometric patterns. The buttons are constructed from base metals with brass, bronze, and silver-tone finishes. Each piece is decorated with faceted cut steel studs, a technique characteristic of 18th and 19th-century button manufacturing. Some examples show blued or iridescent finishes. The display card includes a printed label reading CUT STEELS ON METAL and contains handwritten notations. The collection includes various sizes and shapes, ranging from small circular studs to larger pierced medallions.
Card measures approximately 8.5 by 11 inches. Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
