Description
A collection of Victorian-era metal buttons featuring various relief-decorated designs. These items are buttons crafted from a variety of metals including brass, silver-toned, and copper-toned alloys, with some examples displaying patinated or enameled finishes. The pictorial motifs are diverse, encompassing mythological scenes such as St. George and the dragon and a figure in a chariot, as well as architectural subjects like pyramids and castles. Other designs include floral arrangements, avian figures, and intricate geometric patterns. The collection is presented mounted on a white card labeled LARGE VIC METALS (PG. 2). Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
