Description
This collection of Victorian-era items consists of an assortment of large and medium conventional design buttons. Crafted primarily from various metals including brass and silver-toned alloys, these items are buttons that showcase a range of decorative techniques such as intricate filigree, repousse, and engraved detailing. Supplemental materials incorporated into the designs include mother-of-pearl, abalone, faceted glass stones, and enamel insets. While the majority of the pieces are circular, the group also includes square, diamond, and faceted shapes. The collection is presented on a mounting board with a printed label reading VICTORIAN LARGE – CONVENTIONAL & MEDIUM DESIGN.
Mounting board: 10 inches in height Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
