Description
1World War Two U.S. Navy VT-60 squadron patch. The patch is schiffli embroidery on twill. Measures 5″ x 4.5″. Redesignated as Torpedo Squadron Sixty VT-60 on March 10, 1944. The insignia was approved by the Office of Chief of Naval Operations – CNO on April 26, 1945. VT-60 was deployed on the USS Suwannee and flew the Grumman TBM Avenger. Pick up is Sunday, March 29 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
