Description
World War One United States Army Engineer M1911 cotton khaki uniform consisting of tunic, trousers and dog tags. The soldier is identified by his dog tags as Wilber Tritt. The tunic – jacket is not lined. The large rimmed coat buttons are attached by split rings. Each side of the collar has a single “button hole” for the collar disc. The cuffs are plain, lacking the double row of stitching. The tunic features a multi-piece construction 1st Army engineer’s patch, two overseas service chevrons, an honorable discharge chevron, corporal rank chevron, WWI victory medal ribbon, engineer and U.S. collar discs. The tunic has no tears or holes but does have some fade spots. The M1911 trousers are in excellent condition with no flaws. Pick up is Sunday, March 29 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
