Description
This Remington Rolling Block single-shot rifle is chambered in 43 Spanish caliber. The firearm features a 35-inch round barrel and is constructed with a dark-finished wood stock and forend. The top of the barrel is marked E. REMINGTON & SONS. ILION N.Y. U.S.A. followed by patent dates including May 3d 1864, May 7th, June 11th, November 12th, December 24th 1872, December 31st 1872, September 9th 1873, January 12th, and March 18th 1874. This military-style rifle is equipped with a cleaning rod housed under the barrel, two barrel bands with sling swivels, a fixed front sight, and an adjustable ladder rear sight. Barrel length: 35 inches. This item is either black powder or manufactured in or before 1898 (and does not take readily available ammunition), and thus does not require an FFL or background check. We can hand out to you at pickup or ship to the address of your choice. In-house shipping available.
