This Astra Model 1916 semi-automatic pistol was manufactured by Esperanza y Unceta in Guernica, Spain. Chambered in 7.65mm (.32 ACP), the firearm features a steel slide and frame with checkered wooden grip panels. The left side of the slide is marked 7.65 1916 MODEL AUTOMATIC PISTOL and ASTRA PATENT, with the manufacturer name Esperanza y Unceta GUERNICA (Spain) appearing below. The serial number 79103 is stamped on the left side of both the frame and the slide. The pistol is equipped with a lanyard ring at the base of the grip and a removable magazine featuring the EU monogram in an oval on the floorplate.
