Civil War Anti Jeff Davis patriotic cover lot that includes; 1.) Confederate President Jeff Davis playing, and losing, a game of chess with General Winfield Scott. 2.) “Whar’s Jeff Davis” A grotesque caricature of a black man crawling on all fours with a whip in his hand. 3.) Master Jeff – and His Navy”. Caricature of Jeff Davis as a boy preparing to launch his toy boat into a wash barrel. 4.) “Jeff and His Pet.” Jeff Davis jumps back as a snake prepares to strike him. Covers vary in size from 2..875″ x 5″ to 3.25″ x 5.875″. Covers are unused. Pick up is Sunday, March 29 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
