Description
A collection of vintage and antique cast iron and metal items, primarily of early-to-mid 20th-century American manufacture. The lot includes an orange-painted Huber steam roller toy featuring a black star emblem and a red-painted cast iron toy tractor with an integrated driver figure. Domestic implements include a large Enterprise sad iron with a turned wooden handle and a Dover sad iron with a removable lid. Functional and decorative objects comprise a beetle-form boot jack with gold-painted accents, a blue-painted US Mail box bank with gold lettering, and various cast iron trivets and wall hooks, including one example marked Made in Taiwan. Also present are a bronze-finished dog figurine and a small toy cannon marked Gettysburg and Penncraft U.S.A. on the carriage. Beetle-form boot jack: 9 inches long. Huber steam roller: 7.5 inches long. US Mail box bank: 4 inches high. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Saturday, Feb. 28 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
