Description
This collection of vintage decorative items features avian motifs and includes ceramic wall plaques, decorative plates, and a glass chimney. The mallard duck wall plaques are crafted from glazed ceramic with polychrome finishes in shades of green, brown, and purple. These plaques are marked with red foil Lefton’s Exclusives Japan labels or small blue Japan labels and feature cord hangers. Also included are ceramic plates produced by Salem China Co. depicting Canada geese and pheasants. Both plates feature a gold-tone rim and are marked on the reverse with the Salem manufacturer’s stamp, ovenproof, 23 K. GOLD, and 59 U. The plates are fitted with wire spring hangers. Completing the lot is a clear, bulbous glass hurricane lamp chimney. Largest plaque: approximately 10 inches wide. Smallest plaque: approximately 5.5 inches wide. Plates: approximately 9.25 inches in diameter. Chimney: approximately 8.5 inches tall. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Saturday, Feb. 28 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
