Description
This collection of motor racing memorabilia includes textiles, accessories, and paper ephemera primarily related to the Indianapolis 500 and NASCAR, dating from approximately 1975 to 2010. The textile group features a blue nylon Camel branded carry bag with a Smooth Character patch, a car shaped Western Auto Parts America waist pouch, and a black Mechanix Wear tool belt with Indianapolis Motor Speedway branding. An assortment of branded lanyards includes examples from the Indianapolis 500 and Mechanix Wear. The paper ephemera consists of multiple Indianapolis 500 gate and pit passes from various years, a 1997 Brickyard 400 track pass, a 1985 NASCAR Garage Pass, and a 1992 Cleveland Grand Prix pit and paddock pass. Additional items include promotional materials for the IZOD IndyCar Series, event postcards, a Winston racing pin, and a cast metal decorative plaque depicting an open wheel race car. The plaque is marked Taiwan on the reverse. Measurements: Length of collection as displayed with ruler: 21 inches . Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Saturday, Feb. 28 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
