Description
A Danbury Mint polychrome sculpture titled Brook Jewel, designed by artist Franz Dutzler. The piece depicts a brook trout in a leaping pose above a stylized water surface. It features hand-painted details including the characteristic spotting and red fins of the species. The sculpture is set against a background of aquatic vegetation and reeds, with a rocky element on the water surface. The entire composition is mounted on a circular wooden base with a dark finish. The artist’s name, Franz Dutzler, is incised into the sculpted base. This lot is accompanied by a Danbury Mint Certificate of Ownership bearing serial number E9406. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Saturday, Feb. 28 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
