Description
This vintage countertop nut dispenser features a classic mid-century revival design popular in the 1970s and 1980s. The unit is constructed with a clear spherical glass globe reservoir and a solid wood base and cap, likely pine or oak with a warm medium-brown stain. The glass is decorated with the word NUTS in a bold, blue Western-style serif font with white accents. It operates via a manual slide-action mechanism; pulling the wooden slide forward captures a single portion of nuts in a circular cutout. This unbranded piece is an original vintage example of barware or general store-style accessories from its era. Dimensions: 9 x 5.5 x 5.5 inches. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Saturday, Feb. 28 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
