Description
A group of three vintage American milk glass ovenware pieces, comprising two round casserole dishes and one rectangular loaf pan. The two 1.5-quart round dishes are manufactured by Fire-King (Anchor Hocking) and feature the Golden Wheat pattern, characterized by yellow and orange wheat stalks with grey accents. These pieces are embossed on the underside with the maker’s mark: T.M. REG FIRE-KING MADE IN U.S.A. 1 1/2 QT. The 1.5-quart rectangular loaf pan is manufactured by Glasbake (Jeannette Glass), model J522, decorated in the Blue Onion pattern with a blue floral and scroll motif. The loaf pan features a pebbled texture on the base and is embossed: Glasbake J522 1 1/2 QT U.S.A. These pieces represent classic mid-century American functional kitchenware produced using pressed milk glass techniques with applied transfer decorations. Round dishes: approximately 8.5 inches wide including handles. Loaf pan: approximately 10.5 inches long including handles. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Saturday, Feb. 28 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
