Description
This lot comprises a collection of vintage paper goods and a small wooden storage chest. The chest is constructed of cedar-style wood, featuring decorative metal straps across the lid and a carved egg-and-dart border along the base. It stands on four integrated feet and includes a metal latch. The interior is lined with a pink tufted satin-style fabric. The accompanying ephemera includes a variety of mid-20th-century postcards depicting urban landmarks and architectural scenes, with a focus on Chicago locations such as Michigan Avenue, Grant Park, the University of Chicago, and the Shedd Aquarium. Also included are several Victorian-style die-cut paper scraps featuring floral and figurative motifs. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Saturday, Feb. 28 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
