Description
A collection of mid-century glass and foil Christmas ornaments featuring makers such as Shiny Brite, Pyramid, and Kmart. The assortment includes several boxed sets and various loose items housed in divided cardboard containers. The glass ornaments are constructed from blown glass with finishes including solid and gradient mercury glass, hand-painted floral motifs, and glitter embellishments. Notable items include a blue glass tree topper in a Shiny Brite box, a set of hand-painted glass bells and spheres labeled Hand Painted in Bavaria for Kmart, and glitter-decorated ornaments by Pyramid. The collection also contains multifaceted metallic foil ornaments in vibrant holiday colors, star-shaped decorations, a mottled-red metal horn, and several green metal stand components. Decorative techniques observed include stenciled holiday scenes, striped patterns, and intricate hand-applied designs. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Saturday, Feb. 28 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
