A diverse collection of mid-20th-century collectibles and industrial articles. Sports memorabilia includes a pair of vintage black leather spiked baseball cleats housed in a Converse box, a Lee Cowhide leather baseball mitt with an illegible ink signature, and a 1973 Topps Rick Monday baseball card number 44. Advertising and industrial items feature a Washington Dee-Cee Work Shirts cardboard sign, a Seaboard Coast Line Railroad cast iron trivet depicting a steam locomotive, a McBee Systems metal plaque, and a Ritter Company dental engine oiler. The lot includes a metal-on-wood printing block for an Engine Log Book, a Goodrich Silvertown rubber tire ashtray with a green glass insert, and a bag of W.H. Johnson and Sons milk bottle caps. Ephemera consists of various vintage souvenir postcard folders and postcards from locations such as White Sands, Salt Lake City, and Ciudad Juarez. Hunting and military-related items include a Herter’s Famous 99 Squirrel Call in its original box, an Olt’s Game and Bird Calls box, and a box of ten Dummy M2 .50 caliber cartridges from Frankford Arsenal. Additional articles include a pink plastic figural Mr. Peanut mug, a black Samsonite hardshell briefcase with combination locks, wooden specimen boxes containing various stones and fossils, and empty firearm boxes for Smith and Wesson and Colt.
