Description
This collection comprises a variety of 20th-century mass-market paperback books and technical manuals. The literary selection features numerous titles by Piers Anthony, including a boxed set of The Magic of Xanth Volumes I-III and individual novels such as Night Mare, Dragon on a Pedestal, and Golem in the Gears. Other fantasy authors represented include Anne McCaffrey with works from the Dragonriders of Pern series, Lloyd Alexander, Barbara Hambly, and Dennis L. McKiernan. Classic and reference titles include Mark Twain’s A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court, a Dennison German Dictionary, and Webster’s Synonyms and Antonyms. The technical portion of the lot includes several mid-century ammunition reloading guides: the National Rifle Association Handbook No. 1 titled Reloading Information from the American Rifleman (copyright 1953, reprinted 1955), the Hornady Handbook of Cartridge Reloading (first printing 1967), the Speer Manual for Reloading Ammunition Number 5 (c. 1961), and the Lyman Ideal Handbook No. 40. The manuals feature both standard adhesive bindings and plastic comb spiral bindings. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Saturday, Feb. 28 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
