Description
A collection of mid-20th-century coinage primarily composed of United States silver dimes. The group features Mercury (Winged Liberty Head) dimes and Roosevelt dimes with dates ranging from 1940 through 1964. Also included is a single United States Buffalo nickel and an Australian 1943 silver three-pence coin featuring the portrait of King George VI. The majority of the coins are secured in 2×2 cardboard and plastic film holders with handwritten notations indicating years and mint marks such as 1941-D, 1944-S, 1953-D, and 1964. Visible inscriptions include LIBERTY, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, ONE DIME, FIVE CENTS, and THREE PENCE. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Saturday, Feb. 28 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
