Description
A collection of United States Mint numismatic sets and commemorative items primarily issued between 1974 and 1988. The group includes multiple United States Proof Sets in original black plastic presentation cases with silver-tone lettering, dated 1974, 1975, 1976 Bicentennial, and 1977. Also included are various Uncirculated Coin Sets in original government packaging, featuring wood-grain patterned cardboard and white paper envelopes with blue and red accents, dated 1975, 1977, 1985, 1987, and 1988. The collection further contains two America’s First Medals commemorative sets issued by the Department of the Treasury, specifically the Washington Before Boston and General Horatio Gates medals in black frames with red felt inserts. Completing the lot are two 1974 Bicentennial First Day Covers featuring commemorative medals and postmarked stamps. All items are housed in their original government-issued packaging. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Saturday, Feb. 28 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
