This collection of military-related items spans the World War II and Vietnam War eras. It includes several reference books and manuals such as The German MP40 Submachine Gun, Luger Variations by Harry E. Jones, and The FP-45 Liberator Pistol 1942-1945 by R.W. Koch. Official publications include a Russian Language Guide TM 30-344, a manual for the Springfield Rifle, Carbine, and Army Revolvers, and a U.S. Rifle Caliber .30 FM 23-5 field manual. The lot features a May 14, 1945, issue of TIME magazine. Military insignia consists of various embroidered US Army rank chevrons, unit patches, and specialist badges. Hardware includes a group of American Red Cross pins and buttons, brass US uniform buttons, a cavalry button with crossed sabers, and a Boy Scout button. Field gear is represented by a canvas dual-magazine pouch containing two metal magazines and a set of metal cleaning rods in a canvas carrier. Other items include a blue ribbon with tassels and a pocket reference for German small arms codes. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Saturday, Feb. 28 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
