Description
A mid-20th-century Smith & Wesson Model 36 double-action revolver, also known as the Chiefs Special. This firearm is chambered in .38 S&W Special and features a blued steel finish with a 1 7/8-inch barrel. The revolver is fitted with factory diamond-checkered wood grips featuring silver-tone Smith & Wesson medallions and an aftermarket black metal Tyler T-Grip adapter marked TYLER’S T-GRIP OKLA CITY. Visible markings include SMITH & WESSON on the left side of the barrel, .38 S. & W. SPL. on the right side of the barrel, and the manufacturer’s four-line address on the right side of the frame. The Smith & Wesson trademark logo is stamped on the left side of the frame. The serial number 437407 is stamped on the butt of the frame. Barrel length: 1 7/8 inches. In house shipping is available. This firearm is at least 50 years old. If you have a C&R Federal Firearms License (Or other type of FFL) we can ship it to you, or hand it to you if you come here. If not we will have to ship to your Federal Firearms License recipient or you will need to undergo a background check here when you pickup. In-house shipping is available. Pick up is Saturday, Feb. 28 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
