Description
A collection of military decorations and insignia including United States service awards, international decorations, and modern reproductions. The group consists of the following items:
One circular Chinese military insignia pin featuring red enamel sunburst rays behind a central gold-toned five-pointed star. The design is bordered by a gold-toned laurel wreath with a cogwheel at the base. The reverse features a simple safety-pin style fastener.
One reproduction of the British Victoria Cross. The bronze-colored Maltese-style cross is suspended from a crimson ribbon. The obverse features a crown topped with a lion and a scroll inscribed FOR VALOUR. The reverse of the cross is stamped with the word COPY.
One Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross with Palm. This award features a gilt-toned cross with crossed swords. It is suspended from a yellow ribbon with thin red and blue stripes. A gold-toned palm leaf device is attached to the ribbon. The reverse is textured gold-tone with two butterfly clutch fasteners.
One United States National Defense Service Medal. This circular bronze medal features an eagle perched on a sword on the obverse with the raised text NATIONAL DEFENSE. The reverse displays a shield with vertical stripes and a laurel wreath. It is suspended from a red ribbon with yellow, white, and blue stripes.
One reproduction of the United States Marine Corps Brevet Medal. The gold-toned cross is suspended from a red ribbon decorated with white stars. An Eagle, Globe, and Anchor device serves as the suspension. The reverse is inscribed FOR DISTINGUISHED CONDUCT IN PRESENCE OF ENEMY and is stamped with the word COPY.

Pickup is Wednesday, July 15, from Noon to 5 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
