Description
An assortment of United States Marine Corps headgear components and maintenance equipment. The collection features one olive drab wool blend service cap with a blackened metal Eagle, Globe, and Anchor insignia and a black synthetic chin strap secured by blackened buttons embossed with the Marine Corps eagle and anchor motif. One white vinyl dress cap is included, featuring gold-tone embossed USMC buttons and a black synthetic chin strap; the front Eagle, Globe, and Anchor insignia is not present, although the mounting hole is visible. The lot also contains one navy blue fabric dress cover top with ventilation grommets and a front buttonhole. Accessories include two decorative officer-style bullion chin straps, one in a gold-tone finish and one in a silver-tone finish. Maintenance equipment consists of one adjustable aluminum hat stretcher with a sliding screw mechanism used for maintaining cap shape and size. Interior sweatbands and frames do not exhibit visible manufacturer labels or contract stamps.
Interior diameter: 7.5 inches. We do our best to describe all items in the sale, and we definitely take a ton of photos. But, we are not able to guarantee authenticity or era of items in the sale. Pickup is Wednesday, July 15, from Noon to 5 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
